Post Licensing Training

For new curates in their first year after initial ministerial training, SWMTC offers a module in reflective practice for ministry. This module is standard provision in the Diocese of Exeter, and is also available to other Dioceses in the South West.

SWMTC also offers Initial Ministerial Education (IME) Phase 2 training for curates in the Dioceses of Exeter and Truro, and advises the Bishops on the completion of learning outcomes for curates.

Curates may also continue their study to attain a BA in Theology, Ministry & Mission under the Common Awards scheme.
